The Sun and the Moon

The Sun is the bringer of light, and the destroyer of darkness. It represents glory, splendour, and brilliance.
The rising sun symbolizes hope and faith. The Sun is the ultimate representation of life and energy.

The rising Moon declares the arrival of night and the dethronement of the Sun. During the night, darkness rules. Wherever a person looks, he can see only black. The night is symbolic of evil, sorrow, and hostility.
It is the destroyer of hope, happiness and peace.

Every day on Earth has day and night. Similarly, every part of life will have joy and sorrow.
Happiness and sadness are both a face of life. Only when you experience sorrow, can you appreciate the fullness of joy. Each struggle in life makes a person more capable of appreciating peace.
He who has not seen sadness cannot enjoy happiness.
To keep calm during difficult times, one must remember that every tunnel opens out to light at some point or another. This will give the strength needed to tide over tough phases of life and the capability to appreciate the peace at its end.
