Fiction... the dictionary says it is something invented by imagination or feigned. I say it is something that the creative part of the brain believes is the truth, though the rest of the brain knows it is just fantasy.
Fiction is believing in an impossible thing, which might seem like a waste of time, but is not so to those who are held enthralled by it.
Fiction is limitless, since it is fed and sustained by imagination which itself knows no bounds.
Stories of fiction are impossible to put down without reading completely, more often than not. They provide a getaway from the harsh realities of the world. They conjure up a land where the impossible is possible, where one knows not what might happen next, or even if one knows how the story goes, they can't help but forgetting it until they read it. This world is all-perfect, leaving for the ripples of evil that disturb it from time to time but are always subdued by the hero.
Such stories are to be enjoyed, but not dwelt upon forever. Forget not that we are but visitors to those worlds, and visitors never stay forever. Pleasant though some thoughts and ideas might be, everyone has to move on. For in the real world, you are the hero of your own story and no one else can get you out of your own troubles.
