Perfection

I recently read a quote by Neil Armstrong, about the Earth as it appeared from space.

"It suddenly struck me that that tiny pea, pretty and blue, was the Earth. I put up my thumb and shut one eye, and my thumb blotted out the planet Earth. I didn't feel like a giant. I felt very, very small."

This quote serves to remind us all of the fact that however high we rise, there is always more to climb. No one is perfect and no one can be perfect. If the Earth looks like a pea from space and can be blotted out with one thumb, even though it seems unimaginably huge from down here, then it only proves the vastness of space.
Therefore, we must realise that no one can be the best at anything, there is always room for improvement and modesty would serve us well in life, for we never know when we might come across someone or even something, better than us.
